Calling all NPOs in Japan! In celebration of Earth Day 2024, Ichigo Bloom is offering professional Climate Fresk workshops to 5 non-profit organizations in Japan, to help teams build climate literacy and spark action towards a sustainable future.
What is the Climate Fresk?
The Climate Fresk is an award-winning, science-based teambuilding workshop that uses interactive activities and cards to:
- Build a strong understanding of climate change
- Spark creative solutions and action plans
- Boost collaboration and commitment to sustainability
Already used by more than 1.5 million in the world, the Climate Fresk has recently been gaining popularity in Japan, reaching companies, academic organizations and the general public.
Why is this relevant for your NPO?
Sustainability isn’t just about the environment. It’s about creating a just and equitable world for all. This workshop is perfect for NPOs working on any field, from health and social issues to fighting inequalities, to understand the interconnectedness of sustainability and their mission.
Both Japanese NPOs and Japanese branches of international NPOs are welcome.
What’s included?
5 NPOs selected by Ichigo Bloom among applying organizations will receive a free professional session of the Climate Fresk.
- 1 free Climate Fresk workshop with a certified professional facilitator
- Workshop language: Japanese or English, your choice
- Workshop duration: 3 hours
- Location: In or near Tokyo, at your NPO’s office (or another venue you provide) – outdoor workshops also possible
- Promotion of your NPO on our website and social media
The workshop can be used either for your team or for your target audience (partners, donors, users, beneficiaries, etc.). No prior knowledge of climate change is required to participate in the workshop.
Selection criteria
To ensure a diverse range of NPOs benefit from this program, we will prioritize applications based on the following criteria:
- Alignment with you goals: How your NPO’s mission connects to environmental and social progress
- Team engagement: How many team members (approximately) will participate in the workshop
- Commitment to action: How you plan to utilize the workshop learnings to propel action.
Important: even if your sustainability journey is not advanced yet, you can apply. This workshop will help you kickstart a movement!

Selected NPOs will receive a voucher for the workshop, redeemable at any time in 2024, subject to facilitator availability.
